Kudos to Laura Bush for bearing up so well as the War First Lady.
The true test of her indomitable spirit will be in 2009 when she moves back to Rancho Borracho in Crawford and has to hitch a ride into town with a Secret Service man to pick up cigarettes and vodka and still be back in time to rustle up a grilled cheese and a juice box for the Decider's lunch.
I give her seven months before she smothers him with a pillow.
