Happy Birthday Beckham...you little bastard
One year old today. That is seven in dog years and slightly over $4000 in vet bills*. I don't even want to talk about the carpeting... 
*Vet bills explanation: Beckham developed kennel cough which turned into pneumonia right after we got him. For about three weeks he had to be dropped off with the vet everyday to go on a respirator and have medicine pumped into his lungs. Then there were the antibiotics and assorted other treatments. We spent more on him in a month than we've spent on healthcare for the three of us in four years which is why I intend on studding him out.
Talk about your win-win...for him, I mean.
