Alan Jackson's award-winning poignant hit, "Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)" was recently yanked from a political commercial spot by the singer's label, Arista Records. The ad was paid for by Oklahoma independent gubernatorial candidate Gary Richardson, who questioned the whereabouts of Republican opponent Steve Largent on Sept. 11, 2001.
