I told you so last night, but did you listen to me?
Terps win in OT after being down by thirteen 
Kristi Toliver hit a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to cap a 13-point comeback, and then the freshman made two free throws with 35 seconds left in overtime on Tuesday night to give the Terrapins a 78-75 victory over Duke and their first NCAA women's basketball title. Maybe it's just me, but I find women's NCAA basketball much more enjoyable than the mens game. The passing is better, there are more plays and less free-lancing, and there appear to be many more pure shooters. The best womens teams of today (like the 2001-2 UConn team) remind me of the great John Wooden teams of the sixties and seventies that I grew up with. Not to sound like the old fuddy-duddy that I am, but the worst thing that ever happened to basketball was the dunk.
I'd rather watch a freshman like Kristi Toliver drop in a clutch 3-pointer like there was no pressure at all.
